These interactions shape anthromes: human-influenced biomes. By understanding them, we develop the methods and tools needed to address a changing planet.

Anthrome Labs is a research group based in the School of Biosciences at the University of Sheffield. We bring together ecological, physical, social and economic perspectives, using data and quantitative methods to investigate how these systems function and change. Our discoveries underpin Anthrome Atlas, where insights become accessible as planetary intelligence.
